Sony Pictures just released their “Marvel” movie Morbius. The movie is about a living vampire in a modern new york setting. Though the comics had been released years earlier, the idea of vampires has been existing from much earlier than we started writing and reading. Vampires have existed in almost every culture around the world in some form, whether folklore or urban legends.

Vampires have been a part of pop culture from 1913 when the first-ever vampire movie “The Vampire” was released but, it was the year 1922 when the silent German Expressionist horror film directed by F. W. Murnau and starring Max Schreck as Count Orlok, a vampire who preys on the wife (Greta Schröder) of his estate agent (Gustav von Wangenheim) and brings the plague to their town.
