Raja is a bachelor who is well past his age of marriage but enjoys his bachelor life. He even provokes his friend against marriage but is under the constant pressure of marriage by his mother. Atit, one of Raja’s friends is granted US Diversity Visa and asks for Brinda’s hand. Brinda’s father who was reluctant to give his daughters’ hand to a jobless agrees after knowing Atit has received the visa.
He marries and goes to the USA and promises Brinda to take with him after papers are ready. Magne, another of Raja’s friend wants to cure his sick mother. Living under poverty, Magne sees no other way than fleeing abroad. Saraswati, another of the four friends of Raja is in love with a girl named Bishnu. Bishnu’s father, however, challenges Saraswati to earn money before asking the hand of his daughter. Saraswati also vies for foreign employment. Raja is left with Buddhi in the village.
Buddhi is an unemployed married villager who is afraid of his wife. But one day, Buddhi gets drunk and beats his wife for which she leaves for her brother’s home. Champa a villager accepts the weird proposal of Raja and marries him. Raja starts to fall in love with Champa.
But Champa deceives Raja and elope with another person. The movie takes an interesting turn as Saraswati who has missed his flight and Magne who is now a local don in the city meet Raja and Buddhi in Kathmandu. The four friends now search for Champa who is about to get married. To everyone surprise, she is not marrying Aryan but Atit instead. The film ends with a backstory and Raja being a yogi while Brinda sees the home errands.
